Kat Dennings was born in New York City. She is a well-known American actor. She played Max George Black - a hard-working, frank Brooklyn girl - on the CBS sitcom "2 Broke Girls." She began acting as a teenager through a role in HBO's 'Sex and The City'. In the same year, she had her first film role in the popular musical teen drama "Raise Your Vocal". There were several starring roles for her in films like "Charlie Bartlett" as well as 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist', 'Daydream Nation", 'To write Love in Her Arms' and Suburban Gothic. Apart from supporting roles in movies including 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin', 'Big Momma's House 2", 'The AnswerMan The Answer Man', 'Thor' as well as its sequel , 'Thor: The Dark World'. In television, she played a leading role in a show called Raising Dad and guest starred on several other series, such as Without a Trace, ?Clubhouse ?, ?ER ?,"CSI: NY" and The Newsroom. She is also a talented voice actress.
