Rachel investigates the lighthouse on the tape and discovers it is located on Moesko Island, the home of a horse breeder who was ill-fated named Anna Morgan, who appeared on the videotape with the curse. Rachel finds out that Anna had an adoptive daughter, Samara. Samara was capable of creating disturbing images that were able to be projected into the minds of animals, humans as well as objects. Rachel has to go to Anna's widower Richard when she begins asking questions about Samara.
